The Real Value of a White-Labeled Translation Management Software

By Team Babelprojekt | Executive, Solutions | 0 comment | 15 March, 2017 | 6

It was a great idea to introduce the phenomenon of white label products into the market at the time it has been invented. Surprisingly, the concept is still working and many parties can benefit from it. Do you know how it first appeared? Do you know how it works today? And most of all: are you curious how you can make advantage of it for your own business? If so, keep reading!

According to Wikipedia (because where else would you start doing a research on… anything):

“Its origins can be traced to vinyl records. Before records were to be released to the public, often before official artwork was designed and printed, promotional copies were sent out in a white sleeve to DJs to solicit radio and nightclub play, in an effort to build hype and gauge public interest by the record labels, ultimately to better estimate manufacturing quantities..”

It’s a great idea, isn’t it? In this case, it was also a way to do some market research before a record has been released.

But this concept is not something you hear in the breaking news or see on billboards. The reason for that, is, that it’s something that’s always hidden, let’s say, like a counselor of the prime minister. All you hear is what the prime minister says on official forums, all you see is his face, but from the thoughts he’s expressing, the (rhetorical, logical) structure of his speech are constructed by someone else – or, more probably, by a group of people. Now what’s in it for the counselor? A big salary, you would first think and you’re right, of course, but not just that. Just imagine: how could anybody do such a work for the money only? Or how could they do excellent work for the money only? It’s pretty obvious: the counselor of a prime minister must be the best person available. So if they are not doing their jobs to the highest quality, they will be replaced. Simple as that.

And if it is so, this is the main reason the prime minister can unconditionally trust his counselor. They are the best people for the job and they MUST deliver an excellent job.

But the important question is still open: what’s in it for the counselor aside of money? Prestige, right? Big, big prestige. And the fact that they are the best. That’s similar to being a winner at the Olympic Games but only similar given that the Olympians’ names are known world-wide.

So what Babelprojekt offers you is exactly this: a white label solution for your translation agency or language department. We build a software for your needs in terms of daily operations, executive reports, the support of business-planning, communications within the organization and many more features – all in a white label solution. It means: once you register your agency and send invitations for your colleagues (translators, proofreaders and project managers) to register, and access Babelprojekt’s online translation management platform through your subdomain (for example: crm.Translationagency.com), it all will look very familiar. Your logo will appear everywhere, the automatic notifications will be sent from you e-mail address, etc.

This is a true win-win situation. And we love win-win situations. Do you?

Let’s see if we can work together effectively. All you have to do is to request a demo by sending us an email to [email protected]
